At Southside Baptist Church we believe something transformative happens when we gather together in worship. It is in this time that we collectively open our minds and hearts to God’s call to follow the way of Jesus. Our Sunday Service is an opportunity to consider the communal nature of the spiritual journey through corporate celebration, contemplation, reverence, and even lament. These postures draw us near to the God that ever and always draws near to us. Our liturgy (including prayers, songs, and scripture readings) incorporates various expressions that elicit participation, inviting all people into God’s activity in the world around us.
