ABOUT THE Cooperative baptist FELLOWSHIP

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a Christian network comprised of individuals and churches that work together to spread the hope of Christ. Our diverse community includes partners all over the globe, and our fellowship supports a wide range of missions and ministries that give people meaningful opportunities to put their faith to action. With a deep respect for freedom, diversity and equality, we encourage autonomy while inviting collaboration.

For 25 years, CBF has been driven by its mission to serve Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission and to live into our vision to be a national and global community bearing witness to the Gospel in partnership with Christians across the nation and around the world.

Forming Together

The essence of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is captured by the idea of formation. Encouraging individual growth while growing local churches, helping Christians form into their faith as well as living out their faith, forming diverse partnerships locally and globally. It is forming as one and forming together.

Partner in Renewing God's World

As Cooperative Baptists, our core purpose is to partner in renewing God's world. God calls and equips us to spread the hope of Jesus Christ to the least evangelized, most marginalized people on earth. Whether we're feeding the hungry, lifting up the voiceless, digging for water or helping families get back on their feet after a disaster, we and those with whom we minister experience renewal.

Renewing is spiritual. It's a movement that takes faithful believers and active participants  participants who don't just "talk the talk," but are truly God's presence in the world.

Based in Decatur, Ga., CBF is home to 1,800 churches and thousands of individuals, along with 18 state and regional organizations, more than 750 endorsed chaplains and pastoral counselors, nearly 50 ministry partners  including partnerships with 14 seminaries and theology schools  and 125 field personnel serving in more than 30 countries around the world.
